Drop off and pick up. The parking lot can be challenging.  Safety is our number one priority!  Please follow parking lot signs and the flow of traffic.  Drive all the way forward, have your child ready to enter/exit quickly, and remember to be courteous to other drivers.  Please be cautious for all pedestrians.  Please do NOT drop off or pick up in the bus zone or the end of the cul-de-sac.

Parking
for parents is in the front of the school.  The back parking lot is for teachers only.

Visitors must check in at the front office and wear a badge visible at all times.

Absent. If your child is out of school for any reason, please call the 24-hour Attendance Line at (949) 580-1166.

Attendance. Late arriving students need to report to the Attendance Office to sign in and get a Late Slip. Students need to bring a note from a parent explaining the tardy or have a parent sign them in. Illnesses, medical, and dental reasons are excused tardies and absences.

Need to pick up your child? If a student needs to leave campus for a medical or dental appointment, the student needs to report to the Attendance Office before school with a note from a parent or guardian.  A special “Early Out” slip will be given to the student to leave class at the stated time on the note. The student will wait in the office for the parent or guardian.  The parent or guardian must come into the office to show their ID in order to “sign out” their child out.

If your child will be missing school for 10 or more days, please call the Attendance Office and request an “Independent Study” contract. Please allow at least 2 weeks notice prior to your child’s absence.  Always, feel free to contact your child’s teachers directly and check school loop.

Dropping Something Off?  If your child forgets their lunch, music instrument, PE clothes or homework assignment, please drop item off at the Attendance Window.  The item will be left on the outside table under the “message window”.  Students are informed of how to retrieve items on the first day of school.  Forgotten items cannot be taken directly to classes as the disruption interrupts instruction.

Volunteers ARE Needed! Transitioning from elementary school to Middle school is a big change for students but I think it is an even bigger change for parent volunteers. There are no room moms, library moms, Friday folders or even booster clubs.  The best way to help is through the PTA.  There are all levels of participation  If you are interested in volunteering please contact Janet Evans at janetlevans@sbcglobal.net
