Las Flores Middle School PTA,through your important contributions, funds the following programs for LFMS: School loop, Hot Math subscriptions, technology purchases, science experiment supplies, Red Ribbon week, parent education nights and teacher appreciation events, as well as education advocacy at the State and National Level.
You can help LFMS PTA:
1) Join the PTA- you are not required to attend meetings, although we would love to see you. By joining our PTA, your membership dollars help directly here on campus and also at the state and national level for the advocacy of all children. In addition, you will receive a LFMS Student Directory,
2) Contribute to GLEE- Grade Level Educational Enrichment- Our teachers at LFMS feel that hands on programs and labs allow students experiences that broaden their understanding of the curriculum. When the state budget continued to cut programs for our students, the PTA enacted this program to add back various important educational enrichment opportunities.
3) Show Your Bear Pride- Bear Pride is a financial donation program where your family can make a tax deductible cash donation that is used to fund educational and character buidling programs solely at LFMS.
4) Sign up or renew Escrip- Visit
www.escrip.com and enter the LFMS PTA Group ID #5473408. Participating merchants, including Pavilions, will contribute a portion of your purchase to the PTA.
Again this year the PTA will be selling PE wear. You can purchase PE wear at Orientation or throughout the school year through our PE Wear Chairwomen.
